2 Night cruise on the Dawn
Princess - May 4-6, 2008:
If you received the
Special VVT Announcement about this cruise, but decided that
getting a passport was too much of a hassle, you may want to
reconsider. I was wrong about something, and I am SO happy
that I was!!! According to the Government travel site
at: http://travel.state.gov/travel/cbpmc/cbpmc_2223.html , a passport is NOT required (yet)
for cruises to Mexico and other places.

available on the Department of Homeland Security’s
website.
- CURRENTLY:
U.S.
citizens need to present either (a) a passport, passport
card (available in spring 2008), or WHTI-compliant document; or (b) a government-issued photo ID,
such as a driver’s license, along with proof of citizenship,
such as a certified birth certificate.

Flip Your
Rocker:
Many riders with Kuryakyn grips
have installed the "Throttle Boss" which helps hold the
throttle open allowing the rider to relax his/her hand
on long rides. Only problem with them is how
much of the grip they tend to eat. Want to free up some room?
Just flip it over The photo was taken from 'above' the
grip giving the appearance the Throttle Boss is pointed
downward. It is actually (viewed from the end of the
grip) about the 9:30 position.

Calendar Lots of events coming up in the next few months -

This
Saturday (March 8th) there's
an All Brand Motorcycle Show & Shine at Plaza Del Sol -
49613 Harrison Street, in Coachella (next to Food 4
Less). All proceeds will benefit the Sanchez Family. On
12/9/07, Roberto Sanchez, Jr. (he's 16) was involved in a
motorcycle accident and is now paralyzed and in a wheelchair.
The Sanchez Familiy needs our help. If you have

This Sunday, (March 9th) there is a fundraiser
Spaghetti Dinner hosted by the PS Elks Lodge at 67-491
Highway 111, Cathedral City. Dinner tickets are $15 each with
a portion going directly to Guide Dogs of the Desert.
