2 Night cruise on the Dawn
Princess - May 4-6, 2008:
We're
up to 20 desert rats booked on this cruise...with 4 more
couples in the "tentative stage". Penny is working on
getting a party bus lined up for us so we don't have to pay
for parking at the pier or the gas to get there and
back.
If you want information about the Birthday Cruz, feel free to
call any of us (we're all going!) or, click here to get all the cruise and
booking info.
Riding
Trick:
Here's
an old trick that never goes out of style. You can make
your zippers work more smoothly by rubbing both sides with
simple hand soap then working the zipper up and down a couple
of times. If you're afraid all your zippers will
start foaming while riding in the rain (like THAT happens a
lot out here!), candle wax does pretty much the same
thing. Just light a candle, allow a few drops of hot wax
to drip onto a zipper then (while the wax is still warm) work
the zipper.
Rides & Events Calendar
Lots of events coming up in the next few months - don't
be left out of all the action! If you've got an event or
ride to promote, please post it on the calendar. Lots of room
to post all the necessary information and no passwords
necessary...and, as always, no cost to
you!
Annual Critter Run

Valley V-Twin is the second stop of the
run...and we're offering 15% off everything (okay, not
everything - the discount isn't good on vehicles or labor -
and can't be combined with the regular 10% discount we give
HOG members!) until Noon that day!
11th

Biker Bowling
(we're gonna give this a
try!)
We're going bowling next Wednesday
(the 26th) evening and you're invited to play with us.
Meet our very unprofessional group at Fantasy
Lanes at the Fantasy Springs Resort Casino. Cost is $14 each
for one hour of bowling and includes shoes (I can't wait to
see George in bowling shoes!). We'll start bowling at 7pm
sharp (guess this means you'll have to be there early to get
ready to play). Lanes are available "first come, first
served". Regular rate is $4 per game and $3.25 for shoe
rental.
Lo-Jack Special thru March 31st.
(Lo-Jack with Early Warning System). Less than 2 weeks
left to take advantage of our installation
discount... We realize it's kind of
tough to fork out close to $950 for something you can't
see, smell, taste, or touch - that's why we're offering $100
off the total price. Mention this newsletter and
we'll knock off an additional $50. The quoted price is all
you'll pay...there are no monthly fees or dues. Got questions,
please call us...that's why we're here.
Valley V-Twin is
the Coachella Valley's only
Lo-Jack dealer for all American Motorcycles.
