Showroom Specials:
Come in and browse our clearance
corner - lots of leather at up to 50% off.
We're also taking 25% off all gift items
(blankets, wallpaper borders, HD logo stuff, flags, desk &
bathroom accessories, picture frames, signs, and
more!
We've brought in a huge selection of
toolbags in both leather and synthetic materials. The
Tourmaster bags all come with a rain cover (SO important here
in the desert!!) and are designed beautifully. They'll
withstand most anything you can throw at them...and look great
the whole time.
Oh yeah, one more thing...we brought it a whole line of
Milwaukee t-shirts for you...in ladies and mens styles - it's
a
new direction for the Milwaukee clothing company. They've invested as much
detail in the clothing as they have their jackets, chaps, vests and
boots...

Valley Rider
News – June 30, 2008
Keeping cool in the desert...on or off a
bike!
Unfortunately, the summer heat is here to
stay...for the next few month anyway! We've looked high and
low for ways to keep you cool (which also means safe) on your
bike. Here are few things we've got in the showroom that
will help you extend your riding (and
playing) time...
Cleavage Coolers
- Use these handy little frozen pouches to cool down
those hot spots...for ladies, tuck 'em in your bra and you'll
knock that hot flash into tomorrow...for guys, well, you've
got cleavage too...just look behind! Tucked into the small of
your back, these little suckers will surprise you with a
tingle!
Electrolyte Tablets
- These tiny tablets (taken with water) help minimize
fatigue, nausea & the dreaded muscle cramps you
can get when you're overheated. They're a LOT more convenient
than dragging around a bottle of Gatorade (which tastes
disgusting when it's hot from being in a saddlebag). If you
suffer in the heat, you might want to pick up a pack or two
for a "just in case" scenario. (not for those of you who
suffer from heart disease or high blood
pressure...sorry!)
Cooling Vests
- Evaporative cooling vests work great when it's hot outside
with no humidity to muck it up. Soak 'em in water for a
couple of minutes, gently squeeze out the excess and put it
on. Cooling effects last as long as they're
damp.
Headwraps -
We've got all kinds of headwraps with either sweatbands or
cooling bands (soak and wear) sewn in.
Other cooling gear -
Wristlets & neck wraps (soak and wear), and neck wraps
with Phase Change Gel Pack
inserts.
Just because we
like throwing little tidbits of info at ya...here's one more.
Wear a long sleeve white shirt while riding - keeps the sun
from beating down on you and sucking the moisture out of your
skin. Believe it or not, you WILL stay cooler if you're
covered up!
Phase Change
Vests - We're out, but they're coming!! Looking
for a way to stay really
cool on your bike and extend your time in the
saddle? Come in and try on a Phase Change vest. The all cotton
vest has 4 pockets (2 in front, 2 in back) that you slide
frozen gel packs into. Andy R. says the packs stay cool for
hours...he
loves the vest...and so do we. Standard vest in L-XL with set
of 4 gel packs is $119.95, and the one with a built in
hydration system is $152.95
We'll be closed for the
whole Independence Day weekend...sorry! VVT will
reopen on Tuesday, July
8.
